Every verified profile on SalivaTests.com must satisfy at least one of the following documented evidence standards:

Method 1

Direct Clinical Protocol Confirmation

Our compliance team directly contacts the dental practice administrator or lead practitioner to confirm chairside equipment, collection kits in inventory, and active clinical protocols for each claimed testing category.

Method 2

Licensed Practitioner Attestation

A licensed dentist (DDS or DMD) legally authorized to represent the facility submits a signed attestation confirming active use of specific salivary testing assays, along with professional license credentials.

Method 3

CLIA Reference Laboratory Partnership

Confirmation that the practice maintains an active account and send-out transport protocol with an accredited CLIA-certified clinical reference laboratory for microbial or biomarker panels.

  • The practice actively offers or orders the specified testing category.
  • A real dental team confirmed their protocols on a documented date.
  • Physical office address and direct telephone numbers are valid.
  • Practitioners are licensed dental professionals in their respective states.

  • It is not an endorsement of clinical treatment outcomes.
  • It does not guarantee that a test is medically necessary for your teeth.
  • It does not validate insurance coverage or pricing.
  • It is not an endorsement of specific laboratory test kits.

Periodic Reconfirmation & Outdated Listings

Dental practices periodically update clinical equipment, adopt new laboratory partners, or alter in-office protocols. We maintain an ongoing reconfirmation cycle:

  • Every profile prominently displays its Last Confirmed Date (e.g., “Information Confirmed June 12, 2026”).
  • Listings that fail periodic re-attestation or whose telephone contact is disconnected are unverified or removed from active search results.
  • Patients and practitioners can use the “Report an Issue” link on any practice profile to submit corrections or report changes in testing services.
